Six of Swords Tarot Card Meanings
Six golden swords accompany the woman on her voyage, as the ornate vessel travels across a calm stretch of water under the light of the full moon, both symbolising emotions. Blue is dominant for the air element, suggesting clarity over emotions.
The Six of Swords represents moving away from difficulties and is usually seen as a positive card, indicating that the worst is now behind you and life will settle down. The image still holds an essence of melancholy, perhaps for the difficulties that have been experienced in the process, shown by the accompanying swords on her voyage. The passage becomes easier now as she travels on smooth waters, having come through the other side of challenging times.
This card can also represent a journey, sometimes overseas travel, but the interpretation is often a metaphor of the inner journey towards recovery after trying times.
If reversed it may show a sense of stalemate where nothing is moving, matters are unsettled, or difficulties remain outstanding and unsolved.
