The Chronicles of Destiny Fortune Cards

Chronicles - Card Combinations for Love and Relationships

There are certain questions that always seem to come up for a card reader, often relating to romance, so I’ll be taking you through some of the card combinations to look for in your readings that are all about love and relationships.

Firstly, you should always hold clear in your mind who’s who. There are four people to choose from in the deck, Hero, Heroine, Hero II and Heroine II. For example: if a single lady has two male admirers she should assign a Hero card to each, so suitor number one is the Hero and suitor number two is Hero II, and this will hold true for all related readings. If you would prefer, you can always take the extra characters out - leaving just yourself and your partner, or intended partner.

Please note that where there is more than 2 in a combination not all of them have to appear, as long as you have the core cards then the rest can be considered back up, or to reinforce the message. Also, I have left the Heroes and Heroines out, as you would apply these to your own situation.

A New Relationship
Picture

For a new relationship on the horizon the best cards to look for would be The Adventure or Lady Spring (each showing new beginnings) leading to Kissed. The Call may also appear as this shows an offer or proposal being made to you.

Returning Love
Picture

If your query concerns a past relationship that you wish to rekindle then the Phoenix, Kissed, and Lady Spring cards would indicate the reconciliation you’re hoping for. Whilst Lady Spring is primarily a new beginning, when it appears with the Phoenix card then the theme of renewal is strengthened.

Moving in Together
Picture
In this instance I would say the core cards are Castle and Union, as this would show settling down and property, so don’t be surprised if the Union card comes up if you’re not married – it just reinforces the idea of a happy, settled relationship. Other cards that would strongly support these are The Call (the offer of moving in) and The Adventure – a whole new beginning!

A Marriage Proposal

The core cards here are The Call (an offer being made to you) leading to Union (commitment). Other cards may appear around you such as Bliss, Accepting the Quest, or The Lightbearer (the gift of a ring!) and these would support the main two cards.

Wedding Celebrations

The Union card and Ruler of the Realm are the strongest indications of marriage, Bliss and Lady Summer are usually found close by as they show a time for celebration! This isn’t limited to conventional religious weddings; it would include all legal unions such as civil ceremonies.

Children

For pregnancy and conception the best cards to look for are Lady Spring and Innocence - and for birth: Lady Autumn and Innocence.
As with weddings, Bliss and Lady Summer may appear as well.

Unfortunately, the object of a heart's desire may not always be reciprocal. The most distinct card that would appear in that situation would be Sorrow – unrequited love. Other indications that may be relevant could include: Lady Winter, Road to Nowhere, Downfall, or Sinking Ship.

Just a little disclaimer here, these combinations are not extensive or all-inclusive. Everyone has different circumstances and not all of them will be reflected in the cards shown, these are just to give you a general idea of the most significant cards that may come up and the main ones we would tend to look for.
