I have just picked up the Easy Tarot Handbook here in Canada and I just love it. I took a course last summer using the rider-waite deck and have purchased a number of books, but was finding it all bogging down. I am just starting all over again with your book. I bought this box set of the Gilded Tarot cards with this book, as I am interested in the tarot, and have struggled to read my Thoth deck for years. So I decided to buy a self help book on the tarot and a new deck. The cards are beautiful, but most importantly the book is fantastic! It has helped me so much, and finally I have learned the basis of each card and now feel relaxed using them.

Josephine teaches you to work through each card slowly starting with the Minor cards, then the Court and lastly the Major. She then takes you onto the spreads. One thing that really helped me to learn the cards, is when you draw a card she asks you to write down a situation that you remember happened in your life, it's something what each card reminds you of and it helps when drawing the card. It was really good and really does help.

The book feels like good quality, the pictures are black and white, and it would have been nice to see them in colour. But the information in this book made up for it.
If you're a beginner to tarot, this box set will be invaluable to you. It is so worth it and I highly recommend it. To top it off, the cards are stunning and are worth having in your Tarot collection.

After struggling with my first tarot deck for years, I put them away and have been learning tarot with this box set. Which includes the stunning Gilded tarot deck, and a very helpful easy to understand book on the gilded tarot. I wish I had found this ages ago, I would be an experienced reader by now if I had. If you're like me, someone who has wanted to learn the tarot but has struggled for a long time. Then this deck is for you.

I guess this is what you might call a testimonial. One that involves your readings and how they have indirectly affected my life. I am not the one who has been receiving readings from you, but rather a very sweet lady I recently met on a website where I had just begun to exhibit my artworks. She was looking for an outlet for her own artworks and somehow stumbled upon this site and saw my works. She contacted me having no knowledge of who I was or what I looked like, because I was new to the site and had not input my biography or picture yet.

A short email complementing my works and simply signed "Sunshine" was sent to me via the site. Well, I was flattered (who isn't?) quite frankly, and wrote back thanking her and asking a few probing questions. Well as you may have already guessed, this has blossomed into a beautiful relationship which is on the verge of becoming real instead of virtual. She it turns out, is 13 hours ahead of me in time zones. In other words, on the opposite side of the planet!

My friends whom I have confided wanted to know why i couldn't find someone nearer home. But of course, that was never a consideration. In fact, I hold to the notion that I was not looking for any one in my life at all. I am in my late 50's, recently laid off from a teaching job at the college level, and divorced 3 times. I was, in a word, depressed. I hated to go over my sad mental state at the time. Worrying about money and survival in general, having quite frankly thoughts of my own demise. Never remembered being so hopelessly lost before.

One evening in my most darkest hour, i prayed a simple prayer for someone to come into my life and save me from myself. I can't hold back the tears relating this to you Josie as I am so touched by it. On Valentine's Day, the email from "Sunshine" appeared in my inbox, bringing me joy right from the start with her encouraging comments. As we became more closer over the past three weeks, she shared with me some of your readings and how they seemed to somehow relate to our relationship. I have to say, I was stunned by the accuracy of your Tarot Trends.Your first Tarot Trend to her (before we even met!) predicted my 'arrival' and personality! She was advised to seek out this King of Cups..."with something simple such as a passing comment.." Another reading told her of a 'someone, somewhere' who will be most helpful in her career. At the same time i also kept hearing a song entitled "I know you are out there somewhere" which seemed to speak directly to my soul!

Since then, Sunshine has not only become a part of my life, but my main focus in life. Only four days after starting correspondence I realized she was my foremost, and most important interest. I would check her emails eagerly first and answer them before doing anything else. She only realized today that I am supposedly this 'King of Cups' based upon my birthdate! (Your reading also stated "For men who fit this description...they should expect to hear some positive news now) Wow! It is as if we are predestined to meet!

My job, career and financial problems have diminished in importance. They are still there and have not changed much, but they don't seem so insurmountable now. I felt that my little prayer has been answered. No question about that. I was raised Catholic though not the religious type, but I find myself praying at times when I am really desperate. If anyone deserves to have a prayer answered I think I would be at the end of the list.

I look forward to more of your readings and will 'monitor' them with great interest. I hope "Sunshine" will tell her side of our lovestory because I really want to share our testimonial with people who may not believe in the power of fate, kismet, destiny..the Tarot, Higher Power or God...? But something is definitely going on here that is outside the power of man and our ability to control it. I, the sceptic is simply blown away!
